Meet Dale
Dale was raised in a small town by hardworking, blue-collar parents who knew the value of an honest day’s work. Growing up in a household that often faced financial hardship, Dale learned early that success isn’t given, it’s earned through grit, determination, and a willingness to forge your own path. At the age of 17, he answered the call to serve his country by joining the United States Army. There, he embraced the values that continue to guide him today: self-discipline, respect, hard work, and an unwavering commitment to service.
After proudly serving in the United States Army, Dale met his wife of 40 years, Jeanie, a strong partner in faith, family, and purpose. Together, they raised two daughters, Cassie and Laura, instilling in them the same values that have guided their own lives: faith in God, love of country, personal responsibility, and the importance of hard work. The Braden family began their journey in Hermitage, later moved to Gallatin, and ultimately put down roots in Cookeville, where they’ve lived for several years and remain actively engaged in serving and strengthening their community.
Professionally, Dale has gained over four decades of experience across a wide range of industries including roles in the federal government, higher education, manufacturing, non-profits, and, for the past 20 years, the healthcare sector. This diverse background has given him a deep understanding of the challenges everyday Americans face and the leadership skills to help solve them.
Dale is a man of strong faith, guided by unwavering morals, principles, and a deep commitment to doing what’s right. A true conservative, he believes in common-sense solutions, personal responsibility, and putting America first. He’s lived the same struggles that hardworking Americans face every day and has never forgotten where he came from. Dale proudly emphasizes that he is not a career politician, but a patriot who believes public office is about serving the people, not serving oneself. He’s ready to bring honest leadership, real-world experience, and a servant’s heart to Congress.
